Chat shortcuts and settings
Shortcut handling runs in your browser. To insert line breaks and avoid sending a message twice, the extension reads the current editor text and selection temporarily on that page. The extension does not transmit your prompts, chat history, or conversation URLs. It does not use analytics, advertising trackers, or external AI processing.
Global enablement, paused services, and your interface language are stored using Chrome's settings storage. Chrome may sync these settings across your signed-in browsers. Review-reminder counters, reminder choices, and an unfinished problem-report draft stay in local extension storage. Reminder counters record a bounded number of shortcut actions and active dates, without chat contents or browsing history.
Reports you choose to send
Sending a problem report is optional. The report page shows a preview before you press Send report. The extension sends:
- The selected AI service and, when available, its hostname. Conversation paths and query strings are excluded.
- The selected problem category, the description you type, and your optional expected behavior.
- Extension version, browser version, operating-system platform, and interface language.
- A random request identifier that prevents duplicate submissions when you retry.
Reports are sent over HTTPS to a Google Apps Script endpoint, saved in the developer's private Google Form, and emailed to the developer for troubleshooting. You do not need to sign in to Google to submit through the extension. The form does not ask for or collect your Google email address. Google operates the hosting, form, and email services and may process technical request information under its own privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy.
Do not put passwords, private conversations, payment details, or other sensitive information in a report. A saved draft is removed from this browser after confirmed submission or when you choose Clear draft. Submitted reports remain in the developer's Google Form and notification mailbox until the developer deletes them. They are used to investigate issues and improve the extension; they are not sold or used for advertising. The developer may read the report you deliberately submit to investigate your issue. Our use of user data complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Other links
Write a review and Open support hub open the Chrome Web Store. Google controls those pages and their visibility. The extension does not submit a store review on your behalf. Store support posts may be public.
Permissions and contact
The extension needs access to supported AI websites to change editor keyboard behavior. The tabs permission identifies the current service and opens or focuses extension/support pages. Storage saves the controls described above. Access to script.google.com and script.googleusercontent.com lets the report page send a report and read its delivery receipt. These Google hosts do not receive the chat shortcut content script.
For privacy questions or report-deletion requests, contact the developer through the extension's Chrome Web Store support page: https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/nllncjgkdkcabkomghcfgfaplgdnlcjo/support. Include the report's approximate submission time and service so it can be located; no account identity is collected by the extension's report form.
